Hi! We’re Umika and Lainey, two high school sophomores who are passionate about learning and sharing knowledge with younger students. We created FFI because we believe that financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership are skills everyone should have the opportunity to learn early in life.

Umika Saha - Founder

Umika developed her interest in finance through her involvement in the Wharton Finance Summer Program in Summer 2026. That experience strengthened her passion for financial education and inspired her to help make financial knowledge more accessible to younger students.

Lainey Ford - Co-Founder

Lainey is involved in DECA at her school, where she continues to explore business, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Through DECA and FFI, she has grown her passion for helping students discover real-world skills and become more confident in their ideas.
